1. Painting

Painting a wall with your favorite color, and so make this point of attraction of the piece. Then hang a work of art interesting on the wall (it could even be something that you yourself have done). Then put a nice piece of furniture this side of the room to provide more emphasis on the wall. If you want to add an additional impact on the wall, so why not use a rubber stamping technique? Although it is extremely easy to do, rubber stamping can look very impressive when you’re done.

2. Use Rug

This is a great way to define a conversational area and seek to complement the decor of the room. Rather than hang right, put on an angle beneath your coffee table (if you have one). Or else, simply place in a central location where the seats are located. Why not add some large cushions as well?

3. Pictures & Mirrors

Hang those that affect more than reflect your personality. If you can, try frames that are more ornate. Also, when hanging a mirror, place it in a position where lead is a nice view or an interesting architectural feature of the room. Including a mirror in a room also creates the illusion of more space in a room because of light reflecting off it.

4. Lighting

Replace light bulbs, because they are something that will provide clues to your room is outdated. If you are unable to replace the entire lamp, and then just consider replacing the shade instead.

5. Coffee Table

If your coffee table is looking tired or scratched, then cover with a small throw rugs. Or if you want to be a bit more adventurous, why not consider tiling the top of it with mosaic tiles or colored glass instead?

6. Rearrange the furniture

But do not square, but rather put your furniture in a corner. In doing so, you give a new look at the layout of your room, and is much more expensive than going out and buying new furniture.

Also pay attention to the floor space you have left and use it. You can actually get scatter cushions and use these as additional seating. This will give your living room with an atmosphere much more relaxed.

7. Plants

Use plants to add freshness and impact of the decoration of your room, and if placed strategically, will hide the defects in an ugly room.

If you do not need, then remove it. You can either donate to your local charity, or ask a family member or friend if they could use it. By de-cluttering a space, you can not only offer more space, but you can also win a brand new look.
